Who We Work With
At Winhills, we have many links with people and organisations who regularly come into school to enhance our curriculum. Here is a brief biography of our friends to tell you a little bit more about them.
St Neots Football Club
As qualified sport professionals St Neots Football Club are dedicated to increasing engagement and learning within school sport by using their knowledge and experience to educate staff and pupils to lead and sustain a healthy and active lifestyle. At Winhills they teach a variety of sports skills, both generic and sport specific.
History Off the Page
History Off the Page aim to arrive at schools with a wealth of knowledge and with the highest quality resources to expertly deliver a full day of engaging, hands-on learning for all abilities, and leave behind amazing and lasting memories. At Winhills they have delivered days based around castles, Anglo-Saxons and the Great Fire of London.
Bikeability
Bikeability is about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle safely on today’s roads.
Rexroth
Rexroth is an engineering company which is part of the Bosch group. As part of the local community, they have worked closely with Winhills to deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) sessions to children across the school. This has included school based activities as well as visits to their offices in Eynesbury.
For P.E. and Sport we also work alongside Nick Peck (tennis coach), Cricket East and St Neots Leisure Centre (swimming lessons).
EYFS also work closely with the health visiting team, the speech and language team, Cambridgeshire child and family centre, the SEND service and other outreach workers.
